A Japanese version and an English version are different. It is conceited to complain to a Japanese version in the standard of an English version.

Move

The GameFreak art blog (not "A Japanese website", btw) also says that his name is Kuruto.--immewnitythemew 21:41, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

No. They do this all the time in pictures links. They tend not to use the trademarked romaji. Especially with Pokémon cards. Pikachu. Nyaasu. Kamekkusu. Burakki. Etc. Picture links are not a good source of confirmation. The English version is coming out soon anyway. --ケンジガール 23:23, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Who decided that kuruto was not a name? [1] And, the Pokemon is a make-believe world. A unique name exists, too.
It is different from the situation with DENTO. The name is described with person entitled's URL. Fan name is surely inferior.
Do you know a Japanese name to be adopted officially?[2]
It gives priority to fan name more than the site of SUGIMORI. I think that it is an event terribly conceited. Sawamular101 19:32, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Dent/Dento is not good example, because Dent is official. Anyways, I agree with Sawamular; Kuruto really seems to be a legit name according to Google search.--Den Zen 19:48, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Fan name is more excellent than an original Japanese name. Thus, there are silly discrimination feelings.
The Japanese name is only and original a name. Is the blasphemy to Japanese of the original language happy? Sawamular101 20:46, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
If you are trying to say that I'm being disrespectful to the Japanese language, I highly resent that. I have the utmost respect for it. It'd be a entirely different story of the names were actually in writing in GameFreak's blog. But we are talking about file names. They could have just saved them as those names for all we know. It is usually written by the katakana in Pokemon's world. Please give priority to the name of the West if you do not understand the distinction between a Japanese name and the West name. Your opinion is misled.
「It'd be a entirely different story of the names were actually in writing in GameFreak's blog.」
Could you prove this? Is there a precedent of having differed in "official Japanese name" and "URL name"?
Because an English version is LOCALIZE version, it doesn't become an object of comparison (To make the people on the west side pleased, it was modified). Sawamular101 23:23, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
What do you want me to prove, exactly? I just said that if GameFreak wrote down "Kuruto" in he blog itself or on the image that I would be more inclined to believe it. I don't know how many times I have to say URL links should not be trusted.
And again, you are assuming that I'm only doing this because I like things westernized when it's not the case. If it was I wouldn't have changed Albert to Alberto or Katumi to Katsumi. All I'm going by are basic definitions and how Kuruto is used in the Japanese language and I have not yet found anything were it's used for Japanese words. --ケンジガール 23:35, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

This is that I prove and want it. Please prove the URL name to be different from an official Japanese name. Please do not compare it with an official English name. Sawamular101 23:44, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

After all, will you complain to URL name because it sees from the aspect of an English version?

A Japanese version and an English version are different. It is conceited to complain to a Japanese version in the standard of an English version.

I return it to KURUTO if there is no evidence that the URL name is not corresponding to an official, Japanese name. However, I will wait for several days. Sawamular101 00:46, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

You will not change it. I've already given my final decision as the head of Project Anime. Kuruto is not a real word or a name even in Japanese. It has nothing to do with the English language. KURUTO(In this case, it is family name.)[5] [6]
The person who can declare that it is a misspelling doesn't exist in bulbapedia.
When this is official name, it is an insulting remark against those who produce. Sawamular101 01:43, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
I hate to tell you, you're trying to argue with the person who can declare it's a misspelling on Bulbapedia. These names are nothing more than phonetic spellings of the katakana. I don't always agree with if the romanized names used by Bulbapedia are good names (Goloog?) but I don't argue with why they are used. --The Great Butler 06:46, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
