:It'd simply be too much of a coincidence. Would you honestly think that three characters from the same show had their names show up in one area if it was unintentional? ::It's fine the way you put it just now and that's how it was before the user/editor I mentioned before changed it to specify they were named after Sesame Street characters. I'm simply saying that it shouldn't be said they are named after the characters from Sesame Street without references to back it up.DarienLeonhart (talk) 10:56, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
:::It was I who changed it in the first place. I just thought that wording was better and didn't think you'd need some solid evidence to back up an obvious reference, because it's very unlikely it was unintentional. I think you're the first user I've net who's had a problem with this wording. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:25, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

Stardust

Yet again I can't find the Stardust item on the said island, or any other island on this route. Cooltrainer nick 21:16, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

It's on the larger island north of Swimmer Dean. I found it in my first time through the route, but sometimes items don't appear until later in the game so it may be possible that you needed to come back later. Ishu bagaria (talk) 22:08, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Yes I've found it later in the game. Thanks. I think items appear after a set number of steps. - unsigned comment from Cooltrainer nick (talkcontribs)
Any chance we can get more info on these appearing items? - unsigned comment from Loumast (talkcontribs)

Pokémon

I just hooked a Lanturn (level 20, I'm pretty sure), on the Cinnabar Gym island on Pokémon Crystal with Super Rod! TorNyan (talk) 11:46, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

And a level 40 Tentacruel, level 40 Chinchou, level 40 Shellder. The data on available Pokémon in this article is wrong. TorNyan (talk)
Are you playing on an emulator? Because every other website with encounter data doesn't list these pokemon for gen 2 either. Or Heart Gold, since these encounter rates seem to match up with that... --Spriteit (talk) 12:06, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
No, I was not playing on an emulator. It seems Jlynthacum has corrected the data now. Good. TorNyan (talk) 01:20, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Trainers Elmo, Bert, & Ernie

Editor changed trivia information to say that the 3 trainers are NAMED AFTER characters of Sesame Street instead of the fact that they share the characters' names. Where is the proof? Without proof, it's just speculation. DarienLeonhart (talk) 06:38, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

It'd simply be too much of a coincidence. Would you honestly think that three characters from the same show had their names show up in one area if it was unintentional? But just in case, I've reworded the trivia a bit. I hope it's better for you now. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:09, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
It's fine the way you put it just now and that's how it was before the user/editor I mentioned before changed it to specify they were named after Sesame Street characters. I'm simply saying that it shouldn't be said they are named after the characters from Sesame Street without references to back it up.DarienLeonhart (talk) 10:56, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
It was I who changed it in the first place.
