So let me get this straight: pointless "trivia" like how Croagunk is Brock's second Poison-type that starts with "Cro-" is okay, but trivia that points out a freakish coincidence is not? And "GSC predates AI" is a horrible justification for deleting the trivia. It's interesting BECAUSE NOA, by chance, had a group of three trainers in the same area named Randall, Paula and Simon years BEFORE a show started in which the judges had the same names. (Not to mention the Kara on Route 41 in the same body of water!) --[[User:Razzia|Frost]] 20:02, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

I don't know about Gen IV, but in Gen II there's smashable rocks on the shore here, aren't there Pokemon that pop out of them? Drake Clawfang 08:13, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Is it accessible before the Elite Four? merlinnerd

American Idol Reference?! WTF?

I can't believe nobody noticed this. Swimmer Simon Swimmer Paula Swimmer Randall. Coincidence much? - unsigned comment from Gen1king (talkcontribs)

hey, that's pretty...random. Trivia worthy I guess? Jello 23:48, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
That is notable. Go ahead.--Midnight Blue 23:49, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Done. --GEN1KING 04:37, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
I thought Bulbapedia was working against Trivia for Trivia's sake...--Purimpopoie 04:57, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
Well, I thought if it is really notable.--Midnight Blue 05:00, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't see how a TV Show that has nothing to do with Pokemon is notable. And since GSC predates American Idol, this is solidly a coincidence, and was in now way intentional, unlike the Movie Cameo Trainers in Sinnoh.--Purimpopoie 05:04, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
As I said before, this is a coincedence, but I think it's trivia worthy. Plus, we're still debating this, who erased it? --GEN1KING 07:00, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
No. GSC predates AI.--ForceFire 09:51, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

What I JUST SAID is that I know its a coincedence, but a notable one at that. If anyone had thought to READ THE TRIVIA, you would know that I wrote that it was merely a coincidence, as GSC predates the show. I did my research, y'know. --GEN1KING 22:02, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Also, the Croagunk trivia is purely within Pokémon canon. AI is a horrible "reality" tv program that has nothing to do with Pokémon other than this bizarre coincidence.
