Mandibuzz

I might be mistaken, but wasn't it said around Black/White's launch that while James Turner designed Vullaby, Mandibuzz was designed by Ken Sugimori? --Ryu Shoji 21:31, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

What happened was James Turner was confirmed to have made Vullaby, and everyone assumed that Sugimori designs every Pokémon unless stated otherwise. This quote is from Mandibuzz's article:
According to interviews with Ken Sugimori in Nintendo Dream, Vullaby and Mandibuzz were added late into the development of Black and White. When Mandibuzz was originally created by James Turner, it was unrelated to Braviary, but it was later decided to use its design as a counterpart to Braviary.
We use Nintendo Dream as a source for quite a few origins; it would be nice if someone could get scans from it. --SnorlaxMonster 11:44, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Mameshiba: On the Loose!

Should it be noted in a small trivia section or something that he drew the pictures for the Mameshiba franchise (in the manga)? I found this out because I own the only volume of the manga and it says it was illustrated by James Turner. I thought it would be interesting to include it here maybe. Gen VI designs?

Is there any word on if Turner designed any Pokémon for X and Y? I'd heard (not from any reliable source) that he'd made Goomy and Sliggoo. Glik (talk) 17:47, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
