It is given that infernape can only be made available in Black and White by trading. But B&W are given in coloured backgrounds which means infernape is available without trading. The background should be white, right? Please correct me if i'm wrong.[[User:Auraguardian197|Auraguardian197]] 14:02, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Crown

The flame on infernape's head (which is refferanced as a 'crown')is similar to chimchar's flame on it's 'bum'. It states in the dex that it can turn it off, is this the same for infernape's crown? Allthough i'm not quite sure if there is any actuall evidence... GoldHusky2009 22:48, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

It is stated that it never goes out. Poisson14 22:56, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Trivia Error

"Infernape and Blaziken are the only fully evolved starter Pokémon to share the same typing." Shouldn't it be: "Infernape and Blaziken are the only fully evolved dual-typed starter Pokémon to share the same typing." Since Blastoise and Feraligatr are both pure water and Meganium and Sceptile are both pure grass? Zendude 12:20, 08 November 2009 I

Yes, that should be fixed. I'll get it. Poisson14 17:45, 8 November 2009 (UTC) Turns out it's blocked. Just remembered tht they are doing maintinence. Just let an admin get it. Poisson14 17:47, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

It's not about the the maintenance. The maintenance ended a couple days ago. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 17:48, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Then why is this still blocked?Poisson14 18:15, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Look at the October 14 Message from the Editor. The Pokémon pages will reopen on November 15. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 21:01, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I changed it now that they aren't protected. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 02:49, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

More Trivia Error

  • It is also the only dual-typed starter that shares its typing with another starter, Blaziken.

Hello, Blaziken. Blaziken also shares its typing with Infernape, unlike the one-sided connection that the current wording implies. It just seems like it's saying, "Infernape shares it's type with Blaziken, but Blaziken doesn't share it's type with Infernape."

How about something along the lines of...

  • Infernape and Blaziken share their typing, making them the only dual-type starters to do so.--Gou 20:19, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Sprites

The non-shiny gen 4 backsprite is of the second frame. Shouldn't it be of the first frame (the static frame)? Said sprite is in the archives, and was apparently the sprite used in that location previously before the new one was uploaded. And I couldn't figure out how, or if I could, revert it back to that image. Kianglo 23:59, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Game Location Error

Uniquely not unique

Infernape is the only fully evolved Sinnoh starter Pokemon that lacks a Unique type combination. Is that trivia worthy? --Benayla (talk) 23:38, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
