Spike

It looks like Spike from The Land Before Time. Is that notable trivia, or am I just insane?

In anycase, Hayashigame is the coolest of all the starter forms. Too bad he doesn't appear anywhere (as of yet), since everyone has either Neatle or Dodaitoise. Satosuke 15:01, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Judging by the picture on that page, there isn't much resemblance. Their designs were probably based on the same thing but Grotle has the whole Grass-thing going for it. --FabuVinny ^{|Talk Page|} 15:29, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Having looked at that picture, they don't look so similar. But the appearance in overall across the film (and series) caused me, the moment I saw Grotle, to think, "it's Spike from The Land Before Time!" I guess the similarity isn't enough however to merit it being trivia if no one agrees with me though. Oh well. Satosuke 17:30, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I never noticed it before, but you're right, Satosuke. They both have similar colors, and a beak, with the same head-shape. Ayla 02:15, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
