Does Gastrodon have 3 eyes,  thought it was just 2, like the majority of pokemon except Staryu, Starmie, Dusclops, Dusknoir etc... In the case of Doduo, Dodrio and Dugtrio, they have 2 eyes to each head? Just wondering btw...[[User:Chomi|Chomi]] 17:18, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

the second sentence in its its physiology section says it does although it is minor I don't think usumptions like that should be made.

423.png Due to special coding in place in the article to illustrate Gastrodon's forms, certain displays will change showing Gastrodon as though it had been found on the West side of Sinnoh, therefore being in its West Sea form. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every day at noon and midnight (UTC), so when the time comes, click here to return to the page and change the display.

Uh... I think Gastrodon and Shellos from east sea are pure water, not water ground. Someone should look into this.

Nope. East, west, both Gastrodon are Water/Ground. --DarkfireTaimatsu 20:56, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Picture?

The picture for Gastrodon is pretty pathetic atm, can anyone put in a crisp, not blurry version?--Madheroesfan 04:55, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

East Sea Gastrodon in the anime

Would it be worth noting that East Sea Gastrodon is the only Generation IV Pokémon (with the obviously exception of Porygon-Z) that has yet to make any kind of appearance in the anime (as all the others have appeared in the series and/or movies)? Watchermark 15:57, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Name Origin

How sure are you that the 'don' part of Gastrodon's name comes from the Spanish honorific? I feel like it's more likely that the name comes from Gastrodonta, a genus of land snails. The only reason that might not be the case is that Gastrodonta are land snails while Gastrodon is very obviously a water snail. --Mamthew42 21:25, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Third Eye?

How can we be certain that the dark whet circle with a dark border in the middle of its forehead is actually an eye and not just part of its body?
