Info

People have forgotten to mention the info about Gastly creating new Pokémon (a mix of Venusaur and Blastoise: I think Venustoise), and trying to attack Ash and co., but left because Misty showed something to him.

Was this the Lavender Town episode? Only time I remember a gastly transforming was the one where it turned into a woman. Not sure if its the same episode though. Xanhawk 23:50 Dec. 21, 2008

It was in the maidens peak episode I believe. I also have a question. Could it be in that episode that ghastly was using night shade (which according to this encyclopedia "makes the foe see a mirage") rather than actually transforming itself?

Trivia

I added to the trivia that the gas around Gastly was replaced with fire in Pokémon Yellow on the 23rd, but now it is not there. Was it erased? If so, why? I don't think that's fair! Unless it makes no sense, or is false, things shouldn't be deleted. And if you take that sprite and zoom in on it, it is clearly fire. If you're questioning why something was removed, look through the history and find when it was removed and look at the edit summary. We see in this case it was removed by User:UltimateSephiroth because "it's a two-colored gas cloud, not a flame". This is an accurate statement on his part. -Sketch 02:25, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Huh, if you look at it closely it does look a lot like a flame, but I see how it's a gas cloud. The Gastly must be moving really fast for the cloud to look like that. {-_-'} Sean... Lord of the Shadows!!! 16:48, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

TCG-Only Moves

Perhaps I misunderstand how this section works, but is Smog really a TCG-only move if Gastly can learn the move through breeding? And if it is, why is that the case? Seems counter-intuitive. Nytik 13:34, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Curse

In the section listing the moves that Gastly learns as it levels up, Curse has been listed as a ghost type move. But I was under the impression that Curse was of the type ??? The same thing has also been done on all the Pokemon that can learn this move. ColourHidden (talk) 10:11, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Gastly and Ditto sprite Mix-up

Hey guys, you mixed up the Gastly and ditto sprites on several pages. This better be a joke, it's not THAT confusing... Anyway, please change the Gastly sprites back to Gastly ones, and the Ditto sprites to ditto ones. Thanks in advance. Eeveewithwings123 (talk) 13:54, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
