How do we want to handle these article-wide? I was thinking that this article should use the same conventions as the [[Game-exclusive Pokémon]] article, which puts event-exclusive moves in a footnote, and also excludes Colo/XD (specifically because it would cause a bloated list). @[[User:Tiddlywinks]] You mention "these tables can be referenced for things like breeding", but breeding isn't possible in Colo/XD and isn't relevant for event-exclusives either. Spider web

With the move spider web, it incorrectly says the move is unobtainable in Heartgold, but it's unobtainable in Soulsilver Stomata (talk) 17:10, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Stomata

Fixed it. Frozen Fennec 17:17, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Kyurem formes.

Well Ice Burn and Freeze Shock are version-exclusive, but what to do with the fusion moves? I am not sure, so asking. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 14:31, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Numbers and TM sprites

I think the numbers should be removed, and the TM sprites replaced with types in text. --Abcboy (talk) 02:40, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Black 2 and White 2

Data for Black 2 and White 2 needs adding. Is it just the same four moves? Digifiend (talk) 12:26, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Colosseum and XD

Why are these included? Due to the sheer number of unobtainable pokémon, there are probably more moves that are absent than are available. I mean, how do I get a Pokémon with Cut in Colosseum, for example? Yeah. --GoldenSandslash15 (talk) 02:58, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

Events

Do events count or not? Gen III Transform indicates they don't, while Gen VI Luster Purge and Mist Ball indicate they do. --SnorlaxMonster 14:09, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Sketch

I think this page should take Sketch into account (or at least have a separate "Sketch only" section). In games in which Smeargle is obtainable without trading, if there are Trainers that use version-exclusive moves in locations that Smeargle will retain them via Sketch (i.e. outside of battle facilities), they aren't really version-exclusive. For example, in Emerald the player cannot normally obtain Triple Kick, but they can Sketch it from Brawly's Hitmontop. --SnorlaxMonster 03:48, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Game-exclusive Z-Moves

Mind Blown, Plasma Fists, Photon Geyser, Light That Burns the Sky, Searing Sunraze Smash, Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom, Let's Snuggle Forever, Splintered Stormshards, and Clangorous Soulblaze are not programmed into Pokémon Sun or Moon. As such, Pokémon which know these moves cannot be traded to Sun or Moon, cannot be used in a link battle against Sun and Moon, and cannot be withdrawn from Pokémon Bank to a copy of Sun or Moon. — Wouldn't it be better and more accurate to rephrase it to instead say "Pokémon holding correspondent Z-Crystals"? A Pokémon can't know a Z-Move in the sense it can know a regular move and having it occupy a slot. What do you all think? Kikugi (talk) 17:29, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

Handling event-exclusive moves and Colo/XD
