Revision as of 21:07, 28 September 2008
Can we really classify Flint as a Fire-type trainer if he only has two Fire-types? His team is actually rather well-balanced, and is only very slightly biased towards Fire. Drapion 00:14, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- The official DP site lists him as Fire-type trainer. Also: he has TWO Fire-type Pokémon. A Normal-type, a Steel-type and a Ghost-type are in his team because there are few Fire Pokémon in the Sinnoh Dex. - Taylor 00:34, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- That's no excuse. Look at the Fire types in the anime version Sinnoh (including Charmeleon and Quilava, for gods sake). I'm sorry, but 2 Fire-types out of 5 Pokemon does not a Fire-trainer make. And in the Ultimate Fire-Trainer Showdown of Destiny Steelix would get laughed of the field. Flint could at least get himself a Magmortar... - Cassius335
- None of those are Sinnoh Dex Pokémon, though, which is the point. --DarkfireTaimatsu 23:58, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- The only available Fire-type Pokémon before obtaining the Nation Dex are the Chimchar line and the Ponyta line. There wasn't much of a choice. Besides, all his non-Fire Pokémon know Fire-type moves. If he is listed as an official DP site lists him as a Fire-type trainer than that's good enough for me. We can't just go changing what's official because we feel he doesn't have enough Fire Pokémon. --☆ケンジガール 00:33, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

No the bloon dos not know any fire type moves. Cerberus 21:14, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Will-o-Wisp causes burns, though, like a Fire move. --DarkfireTaimatsu 21:17, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- {m|Will-O-Wisp}} IS a fire-type move. All of Flint's Pokémon have fire-type attacks, even if they don't cause direct damage. Happy now? And as for the Nat. Dex: You must pass through the Elite 4 before you may obtain the National Dex. Who even says that Flint has a Pokédex in the first place? Berrymaster 22:40, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- Why wouldn't he have a Pokedex? And as Fire-moves go, Will-O-Wisp is kinda perfunctionary. - Cassius335 23:01, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

LMAO, "we suspect drugs were involved". classic.→User:Thomas1652
magmortar in team
in the advert it shows him releasing a magmortar and its confirmed that the pokedex has been upgraded so he could have a magmortar in his team to make up for the lack of fire. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010 18:56, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Its not a confirmation. Looking at the video closely, you will notice that there is a wifi symbol on the battle scene, and that the place that Magmortar is standing would technically be Volkner's Pokemon. Its just bad placement. I don't think it should be mentioned unless its confirmed.

Brother?
didn't Buck say that he had a brother and Flint is just like him Ultamatecharizard 11:06, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- That's just speculation until we get some official confirmation. Anyway, Buck's page mentions it already, so maybe it could fit into trivia, as long as you word it correctly. --((Marton imos)) 11:09, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Drifblim ability
So it says its ability is Unknown, I've gotten Aftermath in mine whenever I attack it. Can anyone else confirm that its always Aftermath in their games?
