Origin

I know most abilities don't have origin sections (probably because most, like Blaze for instance, are so freakin' obvious), but could the origin of this ability possibly be the Hindenburg disaster? Seeing as it only can be possessed by Drifloon and Drifblim, and powers them up when burned... --AndyPKMN 16:10, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Only Balloons, eh? Explain THIS! MaverickNate 16:15, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
OH SNAP. But seriously, that's a completely different thing. This is the ability Overload. So, origin section or no origin section? --AndyPKMN 16:45, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
And where do you think the name Overload came from, eh? They aren't completely different. MaverickNate 16:51, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
They are too! The card has an attack that does more damage based on how many technical machine cards are attached. Drifloon & Drifblim have an ability which boosts their special attack when they're burned. If the move the card has were powered up by a burn (or any status effect, for that matter), it might seem more like there was some basis. But the card has an effect based on TMs, which are support items. That's a lot different from burns, which are usually (but not always) inflicted by the opponent. I think my point still stands. --AndyPKMN 17:34, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
