I kinda wanna know how filler can be applied to any Pokémon episode. I always thought the term filler meant any episode or arc in an anime that did not follow manga chapters, in which case, the entire Pokémon anime could be called filler, or so I think. So I'm confused.

I suggest that separate articles for "Filler episode" and "Filler arc" be created. In crafting the definitions, I found the distinction to be significant (for instance, an episode where someone captures a Pokemon or a relationship changes is not normally a Filler episode; so "Snack Attack," where Ash captures Snorlax, and "Charizard Chills," where Charizard...uh...chills, are not technically Filler episodes, even if they are episodes in a Filler arc).

Then again, you may decide that my definitions are crap and throw all the changes out! ;-) Although I hope if you do, you add another definition...describing what a Filler episode is used for is not the same thing as describing what it is. ShinyAeon 17:37, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Guys, we really should remove the part that says that Johto was one of the main reasons why the show was in a decline in Johto. It's unnecessary, it's fanwank, and it really doesn't belong overall. I had to remove a similar edit on The Johto Journeys artice, and I'd do it myself, but the page is protected so I can't do it. Weedle Mchairybug 03:32, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

I kinda wanna know how filler can be applied to any Pokémon episode. I always thought the term filler meant any episode or arc in an anime that did not follow manga chapters, in which case, the entire Pokémon anime could be called filler, or so I think. So I'm confused.--Darknesslover5000 23:59, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
