Evolution?

Of Moguryu? Prudent to indicate? Even in commented out evobox? TTEchidna 10:15, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

I thought that was only speculation. Since Mamanbou wasn't put as an evolution of Luvdisc, I didn't think it would be appropriate to put Moguryu here. — AxxonntheAwesometrainer 14:22, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

origin

Since there is ryuu (dragon) on Moguryuu's page, could it be like that here too? Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 15:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Its Origin?

Shouldn't it be put down that it draws inspiration from moles? Omnis 02:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Physiology

Those "axes" look more like armor to me. →ΑΧΧΟΝΝfire 23:03, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Episode

BW009 has aired and ended in Japan now, shouldn't we add something in the Major appearances section? DeadUniverse Hello! 10:52, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Do we know that its the only strong pokemon on Iris's team? Unless this is specificly stated, I don't think we should have that line.--Burgundy 12:01, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Strange.....

When it was first shown in that one video (Can't remember the source but it had Ononokus, Denchura, and Desukaan in it), it was apparently purple instead of dark brown. When the sugimori art was revealed and when the game's were released, it was changed to dark brown as I mentioned it is now. Interesting enough for trivia at all? Here see for yourself:BW Prerelease double battle.png 530.png Shiramu Kuromu 23:45, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

Edit: Wow even some bits of the head and the spots on it's belly seem to be different as well... I'm surprised nobody said anything about this yet... Shiramu Kuromu 23:48, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
I remember noticing that color difference between the first appearance and the later ones. I just assumed that one was Shiny or had gender differences, but now I know it isn't. This should be put on Pokémon Black and White beta and in the trivia section here. And you are correct that its sprites are inverted, but its head is the same, it just looks different because this is a different frame of its sprite animation. --SnorlaxMonster 00:50, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Ononokus's sprite is different colored too. Maybe it's just the coloring of the screenshot. —darklordtrom 09:40, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Well, the stripes are clearly inverted. I think the color change is too great on Doryuzu to blame the quality. Ononokus only has a slight shade change. --SnorlaxMonster 10:09, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Crash Man?

Is there a reason his design is the same as Crash Man's? Are they both a reference to something in Japanese culture? --Antoids 02:39, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

King Arthur reference?

The names of Drilbur and Excadrill may reference the sword "Excalibur" from the King Arthur myth. This could be further supported as intentional, because Excadrill is even part Steel-type. Renoir 19:24, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Pretty much speculating since it's a mole and it has drill like extensions on its body. It's just a combination of excavate and drill. :) Frozen Fennec 19:30, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
