Identity

Evelyn Lanto isn't new to the VA biz. She's the voice of Mitsuki on Kappa Mikey and Ellan on Ellen's Acres under that name While this is is unconfirmed as far as I know, I believe her to also be known as Rebecca Soler, who's Sarah on Chaotic, Ella Ellaphinilla on Viva Pinata, Reanne on Magical Doremi, etc.

So that means thet Kidd Summers is voiced by Ms. Lanto Livinlarge18 19:29, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
To end this forever and for all time, Anime Miami Pokemon Q&A.

So sayeth Arceus (the role of Sheena is also frequently noted on her convention profiles). Rosebr10 (talk) 21:49, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Rebecca Soler

Can anybody confirm that Evelyn Lanto and Rebecca Soler are the same person? I personally doubt this, but my only proof is that she was credited as Evelyn Lanto in an Advanced Battle episode, then later on in the season Rebecca Soler appeared. I haven't seen any of the DP credits, but as I've stated before, I doubt she would go by two different names in the same season. --PAK Man Talk 01:58, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

It may not be proof, however, there is an actor named Carrie Keranen who has used the name Evelyn Lanto before. (her real name on the two recent Slayers series Revolution and Evolution-R, which are viewable on FUNimation's YouTube channel). -- MegaHL90Talk 21:26, 16, September 2010 (UTC)

Change article name

I personally think the article should be renamed Carrie Keranen, the actress's real name, and also the same name she goes by in most of her voice acting roles. In my opinion, Evelyn Lanto isn't a good representation of the subject's identity. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 12:12, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

Is she credited under that name in the Pokémon anime? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:52, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
I don't know. I don't really care for aliases, especially for those that don't best represent the subject. What I do know is, Carrie goes by her real name in most of her voice over productions that isn't Pokemon. Moreover, she has confirmed one of her Pokemon roles using her real name on Twitter, despite not being credited as such. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 19:00, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
Well, it is my impression that we name VA articles based on the names they commonly go by in the anime itself, i.e. the names that appear in the credits. If her real name is used more commonly than her pseudonym in the show, then yes, we could move the article. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:02, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
As GrammarFreak said, we name VA articles by what they are credited as in the Pokémon anime. Other works has no bearings on how we name VA articles. Her real name is already noted.--ForceFire 06:08, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
