Healing

Can this move be used for healing?(for example, my infernape and my swampert are in a dual battle against a empoleon and a random other pokemon, the empoleon takes infernape hp to 10 with hydro pump, and swampert is at full hp (200hp i think), if swampert use endeavor on infernape it will get healed?

No, because Endeavor will fail if the user has more HP than the Pokémon it's being used on. Shiny^?! 00:22, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Endeavor just evens the two Pokémons HP, but only works if the users HP is lower thas the foes. TESHIGIGAS 16:44, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Trivia

Shouldn't this be on the trivia page? It is all correct and the one trivia fact on there is too obvious. Fact 1: Kyurem is the only legendary Pokémon to learn this move via level up. As far as I am concerned, this is not notable in trivia at all. A viewer can simply look at both the level up list and Move Tutor list to figure that out. No need to state it twice in trivia. Frozen Fennec 22:56, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Yeah but most people are too lazy to do that and on Kyurem's trivia page there is a trivia question states the obvious and is not notable in trivia as far as I am concerned saying "Unlike most Pokémon with no evolutionary relatives, Kyurem can learn a move Imprison twice with neither instance being at level 1," which a person can look on the level up list and see this is the case. Substitute

Is it worth noting here that endeavor fails against a substitute? Kereth Midknight (talk) 17:52, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

If this were a general thing, then yes, surely. However, I think it isn't; I believe it rather (still) fails due to the user's and the target's HP, regardless of whether a substitute is up. Nescientist (talk) 11:08, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
