Name origin
Couldn't the "oss" part of its name come from gross (big)? It seems more plausible than boss. There's nothing boss-like about it, other than it being a final evolution. --SpeedSuicune 15:37, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
A bit of trivia to add
Elecktross is the first chronologically-numbered Pokémon since Jolteon (four generations earlier) to evolve from a Thunderstone.

- I've never really understood those "first...since" trivia points. IMO, it should be absolute first or nothing. --SnorlaxMonster 14:22, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- There's already trivia on Eelektrik's page that makes the point well enough; it's the only Pokémon to use a Thunderstone that wasn't introduced in Generation I.
