Deletion

Should this article really exist? In-game it technically cannot be reached. It is only mentioned. Either this article gets deleted or merged with Snagem Hideout. --Wildgoosespeeder 23:12, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Technically, it can be reached, because it is the location of the Snagem Hideout, and (presumably) the Cipher Key Lair. The article just needs expanding. Vuvuzela2010 Δ 23:24, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
What I mean by technically is that only two locations are accessible. There is no map data for this location specifically. It's not like you can see the actual canyon to obtain items, visit a Pokémon Center, etc.. There isn't really a lot of information to use for expansion either and even if this article were expanded, it would still look like a stub. I see what was trying to be done with this article, kind of like Celadon City and Rocket Hideout for example. I say in this case it doesn't work. --Wildgoosespeeder 23:38, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
What could possibly be added to the article that isn't already in Snagem Hideout? Cinnabar Island and Cinnabar city are not two separate articles, nor are Iron Island and Iron Island Mining Facility (you get me), so I feel that identification of the canyon's name in the larger article would suffice. Fair enough, I guess it is good enough as a redirect, unless it appears on its own in the Colosseum Manga, which may need checking before it's turned into a redirect. Vuvuzela2010 Δ 01:02, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
Agreed. Additionally, if you look at the template for Orre, Eclo Canyon and Snagem Hideout are both considered landmarks anyway, very little distinction between their role. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 04:41, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
