My guess is that they just made up a name because her real name wasn't known until {{2v2|Gold|Silver}} (at least in the English translation; it could be like [[Kanto]]'s name in that it was given in the Japanese versions but not in English). --[[User:Evice|Evice]] 00:35, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

My guess is that they just made up a name because her real name wasn't known until Gold and Silver (at least in the English translation; it could be like Kanto's name in that it was given in the Japanese versions but not in English). --Evice 00:35, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for bringing that up.

This is something I wanted to bring up, too.

The ONLY place where she's ever refered to as May is in the Electric Tail of Pikachu.

In all other versions, she's Daisy.

I really think the article should be changed. The only reason some people think of her as May is because that was the only name given for her till GSC. Even then, though - it wasn't from a very official source. But in all games and manga afterwards, she's Daisy. And thanks to the Fame Checker and FR LG, I think that's how most people think of her.

Not to mention that the eary choice of May only causes confusion, anyways.

Okay, in that case I think we should move it to Daisy Oak, but leave a small note about name confusions. - Ferret 01:32, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
