Anyone else think this title should be singular, not plural? Most of our article titles are singular, even for things usually used in the plural. Plus, it's so much easier to type <nowiki>[[cross-canon counterpart]]</nowiki> than <nowiki>[[cross-canon counterparts|cross-canon counterpart]]</nowiki>, and we'd be able to use the very simple <nowiki>[[cross-canon counterpart]]s</nowiki> in cases when the plural is preferred in text. Kenny and Pearl

Ash and Lucas
It's possible that as well as being the anime counterpart to Red, Ash can also be considered a counterpart to Lucas; in particular, aside from his hat, Ash's Diamond/Pearl clothes greatly resemble that of Lucas'. Furthermore, in both English and Japanese versions, 'Ash/Satoshi' is one of the default names for Lucas.

Title
