Why is it not notable to say Crobat and its pre-evolutions can learn two moves containing the word ''bird'' despite not being based on birds? 001Bulbasaur RG.png Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on November 21 and October 15 in celebration of the releases of Gold and Silver in Japan, and Gold and Silver in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display.

Crobat's Cry

I want to make a note of Crobat's cry being similar to that of a Generation I glitch Pokémon, but I want to be assured that it's true first.--Pokencyclopedia 21:00, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

A Useless Note (that isn't mine this time)

Whoever put up "Crobat has a higher Speed stat than Arceus," don't. It's not worth noting. Several Pokémon have a higher Speed stat than Arceus, including Aerodactyl, Weavile, and so on. SharKing 23:31, 6 September 2008 (UTC)SharKing

It was MetalMetroid... oy. I guess he thought that since it's on Arceus's page that, despite having the highest total base stats, it still has lower base stats than others, it was worth mentioning... Here's a hint, though: It's not. TTEchidna 00:24, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Oy, indeed. Putting up "[INSERT POKÉMON NAME HERE] has a higher [INSERT STAT NAME HERE] stat than [INSERT POKÉMON NAME HERE]" is just plain unnecessary. SharKing 19:49, 8 September 2008 (UTC)SharKing

Well, what if it's "[INSERT POKéMON NAME HERE] has the highest/higher [INSERT STAT/HEIGHT/WEIGHT HERE] out of all/than [INSERT POKéMON'S CATEGORY OR RELATED POKéMON HERE]" like with Typhlosion and Charizard, or several things written on Feraligatr - unsigned comment from Sk8torchic (talkcontribs)

Feet

Crobat_Feet_Sugimori.png
This drawing is part of the Ken Sugimori's official artwork of Crobat, and he drew feet too! I wonder what where they thinking when they wrote Silver and Crystal pokédex entries... hfc2X 21:00, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, Brock's Crobat has feet. There's an image of that on that page. ht14 19:38, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Sprites

The Generation III Shiny sprites are missing for all games. Just throwing that out there -MiekL94 22:59, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

That's because nobody's bothered to upload them yet.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 23:01, 30 January 2009 (UTC
I uploaded the ruby and sapphire ones, along with the back.--MiekL94 01:53, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Useless ability?

Is Crobat having Inner Focus despite being one of the fastest Pokémon in the game trivia-worthy (sounds like an oxymoron)? Same for Weavile? Ampere 22:31, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

There's always Fake Out... or speed boosts... or quick claw. So no. D: ▫▪Ťïňắ 22:32, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Or being a higher level with a higher speed... R.A. Hunter Blade 01:05, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Maybe Useless

I think this is mentioned in other trivia sections, but I could be wrong: Crobat (If my memory serves) is never depicted as being 5'11, in the anime, or some of the older 3D games. Again, this could be memory failure or a fact not worth mentioning. -InferSizMamoMagne July 25 21:41 (UTC)

Trivia

"Since its debut in Generation II, Crobat's color scheme has been Golbat's color scheme, inverted. This also applies to its shiny variation. ˇ" - Not so true for Crystal - Normal Golbat is only blue there (while in G/S it was purple/blue). Marked +-+-+ 16:09, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

Highest Base Stat Total

The article claims that Crobat is the only Pokémon to have the highest BST out of its type that is not legendary. What about Ninjask, who has the highest speed of all bug or flying types, or Slacking having the highest Attack of all normal types, or any of several others? Poisson14 05:00, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

BST means base stat total, not a single base stat. No Poison-type Pokémon has higher BST than Crobat, whereas many Bug and Flying types have higher BST than Ninjask, and Arceus's BST is higher than Slaking's.--Den Zen 08:44, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
Ah, right. Poisson14 09:18, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Trivia Edit

Should it be noted that Crobat has the highest base speed of all Generation II Pokémon; at 130? Venus253 18:10, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

It's already in the trivia. --Pokemaster97 18:13, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

Is it really? I just thought the trivia mentioned it being the fastest poison type. Venus253 18:32, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

Oops, I misread the trivia, you're correct. I suppose that trivia would be notable, others may differ with my opinion though. --Pokemaster97 18:41, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
