Mainspace

Would it be alright to move this page to the mainspace by now? It's a fast growing page, almost every three episodes feature Clemontic Gear, and because of that it might be handier having it in the mainspace. Perhaps under the name of Clemontic Gear instead of List of Clemont's inventions. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 10:12, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

OK. Moving. Technickal (talk) 22:58, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

Clemontic Gear in XY057

I uploaded an image of a Clemontic Gear in XY057 for the page. PattyMan 20:46, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Clemontic Gear

Shouldn't this page just be called "Clemontic Gear" and have the list of inventions be a part of it? AGGRON989 23:33, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

Added a move template, as "Clemontic Gear" is the proper name. --Abcboy (talk) 19:24, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
If we do so, we're also going to have to delete the Clemontic Gear redirect so it doesn't get in the way of the rename. And I do not object to this, I was thinking we should probably do this, since Clemont's inventions actually have a name. - PokémonGamer* 19:44, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

Japanese names

Would it be okay to add in the Japanese names for the Clemontic Gears since many of them did have Japanese names, according to the past inventions, and it wouldn't hurt to have them there in my opinion? PattyMan 05:53, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, that seems reasonable. I think there's a merit to distinguishing unnamed ones from ones with no English name yet. --Abcboy (talk) 05:55, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

A column for success/failure

I think there should be a column in the table that should say if the invention was a success or failure. Good idea? --リックEO (メッセージ) 00:39, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

Define Success/Failure/Imprecise

I'm looking at some of these and they seem to be regarded as Failures or Imprecise simply because they exploded, however I feel like some of these did do their job and the explosion/malfunction was from an environmental cause The Inventions in question are as follows

  • Muscle Mass Magnifying Machine: it did its job, the issue was that it did it too well, but it succeeded in its function
  • 'Robot used against Princess Allie': Clemont got away did he not? Allie attacking it made no difference to the device since it blew up afterwards
  • Pokémon Power Meter: it was successfully measuring the power until it overloaded, this should be Imprecise since it's the same as the Radio Wave Amplification Device
  • The Only Lonely Robo Dancing Partner should too be Imprecise since it did succeed in doing dance move with Chespin
  • The Robo Step by Step succeeded in fooling Team Rocket, while not the intended target it still worked, it was only when Jessie damaged it did it explode
  • The Search in a Second did successfully track Team Rocket until its explosion, so it should be Imprecise
  • The Life Detector also did its job, it was Clemont's lack of accounting for body shapes which was at fault, not the Invention
  • and Finally, Like the Robo Step by Step, the Rock Searcher Mark 1 and the Track Down Squishy for Certain Mark 1 succeeded in their jobs (Rock Searcher found the rock in the photo and the Squishy tracker found a Zygarde Cell), but was then damaged by Jessie to cause the malfunction, without the kick it would've continued working perfectly (though since the latter found cells instead of core you can count that as imprecise)

Also shouldn't the Serena Machine Clemont made be added? You had the Massage Machine, as for success on that it'd be indecisive, it didn't blow up but it didn't also show its purpose Azure/ChromeVoid42 (talk) 14:16, 23 July 2016 (UTC)

I think it should be moved

I think we should move this page to Clemontic Gear, as Clemont does call his inventions “Clemontic Gear” in the anime. Vanvan529 17:24, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
