G/S Backsprite

Can someone please upload a version of Spr_b_2g_005.png with transparency? I don't see how doing that would mess up the colors the current uploader is trying to keep. Silverlucario 08:22, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

Should the Trivia really say that Charmeleon is the only member of its evolutionary line to NOT have orange skin? Because it does have orange skin in Generation 1, but it slowly gets redder as time goes on. Should i alter it to say "In Generation IV it is the only member..."? CherryParanoia 05:34, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, I would edit it. It does have orange skin up until Diamond/Pearl. It is a bit misleading. Solar Dragon 09:00, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Name

I dont think GameFreek, when they named Charmeleon, really were trying to say it WAS a Chameleon, they were just looking for a cool name as with most Pokemon. - unsigned comment from PokeExtreme (talkcontribs)

Red and Green

Why are we using the Charmeleon picture from Red and Green? Why not FireRed and LeafGreen. (Holonboy 17:29, 1 September 2010 (UTC))

Origin

Charmeleon could be a cross between the mythical Salamander and a European Dragon; being that it evolves from Charmander (a mythical Salamander) and evolve into Charizard (a European Dragon).Bennell 20:58, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
