May I see the full picture of that Movie 10 poster? Because I'm kinda excited, too --Maxim 18:52, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

The picture can be found in the first post of this thread. --Pie ~ 18:53, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Whoa! Ash is getting a Buoysel! I expected that but... it made me even more excited. Thanks. --Maxim 18:59, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, now he is!!!! (P.S. Why no Chimchar in that poster???)--Theryguy512 13:15, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Why would a movie 10 poster feature a Pokémon that Ash didn't even have at the time of the movie? --FabuVinny T-C-S 03:44, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Gender

Look. Yes, Happiny is the only Pokémon caught so far that beyond any measure of doubt must be female. But given the circumstances - given that Ash has formally caught 25 Pokémon, not counting the thirty Tauros - given how girly most of May's Pokémon were - given that Aipom and Buneary are both confirmed as female and were caught prior to Happiny - can you please stop insisting that Happiny is the only definite one? Because even if it's the only female-only one, it's highly unlikely it's the only female. Sheesh. --Pie ~ 04:40, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Also Ash's Tauros. Beyond any measure of a doubt, it must be male. But yeah. Buneary and Aipom are probably female and it shouldn't be said that it's the only female Pokémon. -- Kenji Girl 05:00, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Not probably. They have been confirmed as female. The only thing they haven't done is spread the legs to show girly parts, and said directly to the viewer, "Look, see? Female!" --Pie ~ 05:02, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Then why is Bulbapedia so uptight about us putting genders. If it's confirmed than there should be no problem, right? -- Kenji Girl 05:39, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Because people are debating it anyway and the easiest method of avoiding controversy is to just call every last one of 'em "it". --Pie ~ 05:45, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh... -- Kenji Girl 05:46, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

English VA

Is it confirmed or is that just a guess? --FabuVinny T-C-S 22:37, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Believe me, it's a guess. I've removed it. --PAK Man Talk 22:50, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Can we please block Livinlarge18 now? He's making one stupid guess after another. --ケンジガール 02:00, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Happiny's actress

I really think Michelle Knotz will voice it because she plays Joy's Chansey and Blissey in the PUSA/TAJ dub - unsigned comment from Livinlarge18 (talkcontribs)

That's fine if you think that, but as of now, Happiny has not debuted, and therefore, the voice actress is not known. Once it is confirmed, we will add it to the article. By the way, has Blissey even appeared in the TAJ dub? --PAK Man Talk 03:50, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
No, she hasn't. --ケンジガール 03:50, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

ERROR!!!

Look at this picture: a:File:Brocks happiny.jpg See, there's a little white semicircle below its mouth.

Now look at this picture: a:File:Happiny.jpg Where did the semicircle go???? --Theryguy512 13:15, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

The semicircle is the rock it uses as a pretend egg until it evolves into Chansey and gets a real egg. It could easily take out the rock when Brock was washing it. Shiny?! 13:18, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, the episode is on tomorrow in the U.S. so I'll watch it.... --Theryguy512 13:19, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

I don't think Happiny even had the rock yet in the second picture. --FabuVinny T-C-S 03:42, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Oh yea, you're right. Brock gives Happiny the rock latter. --Theryguy512 13:16, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

attacks?

I'm not completely sure but I think it did use Seimsic toss on Seviper what do you think? - unsigned comment from ShinyMedicham (talkcontribs)

Did the characters identify the attack? If not, it is best not to assume. --FabuVinny T-C-S 13:37, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

I saw her use Rock Throw. Cerberus

Or did it just throw a rock?PokeManiac102 17:42, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

It that not rock thow? Cerberus 17:44, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Just cause it can throw a rock doesn't mean that it can use Rock Throw. Hey anyone can pick up a rock from the ground and throw it.PokeManiac102 17:50, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes that is what Pokemon do for Rock throw. Right?Cerberus 17:57, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Okay ANY Pokémon with arms or legs can do rock throw. Why don't you do it?!PokeManiac102 17:59, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Actual rock throw in the show is seen more like the pokemon slams its fist/tail ect. into the ground at an angle to launch rocks. - unsigned comment from Cahillbro (talkcontribs)

1st of all, sum1 forgot 2 sign. 2nd, Could it hve been Strength?--Kuki (w/ a Broken Diamond) 17:11, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

English VA Part 2

No Ms. Emily Jenness does her voice because when Brock is feeding her she sounds like Dawn (anime)- unsigned comment from Livinlarge18 (talkcontribs)

lololololol just because they sound liek someone, doesn't mean that they ARE. Tinaδ 22:25, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Do you have a proof? -うずまき ハルカ 22:32, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

She sounds like Dwan when she says Mmmmmmm Emily Jenness does her voice Michelle Knotz does not play Dawn. - unsigned comment from Livinlarge18 (talkcontribs)

Pounded to The Unkown

Why does it say unknown when Happiny learned Pound? It hatched from an egg! MAMOSWINEPwnz! (Torngentleman2) 18:35, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

That's to indicate where Happiny was first seen USING Pound. Missingno. Master says: The Celebi Glitch is real!(talk page) 19:05, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Protection

i'd say there's a pretty good chance it evolves in DP190 trying to heal Ash's/Paul's Pokemon--Burgundy 18:47, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Is that a fact or is that just what you think? We only warrant a protection for facts/likely rumors. Not one person's speculation. Please go to the forums for discussions like this. --ケンジガール 05:04, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Well i've seen plenty of people with Happiny evolving on their anime prediction pages, usually with something about working with a Nurse Joy and healing pokemon etc. I'd say it is a 'likely rumor' --Burgundy 05:54, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Is there any suggestion at all that it will take place in DP190? A lot of people want Piplup, Buneary, Buizel, Gible, and others to evolve too. Should those be protected as well? Werdnae (talk) 06:02, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Well, the episode is titled "Pokemon Doctor-Brock!", with Chanseys being known for healing pokmon etc. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the title on Serebii. I'm sure that plenty more people agree with me.--Burgundy 07:52, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
It's also possible that 'Doctor' might refer to him pursuing a Professor career, since the Professors are known as 'Doctors' in Japan. That's speculation too of course, but I'm just trying to say that Chansey doesn't have to do with everything. Let's wait until the actual episode is released. Rai Marshall 08:54, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Good point there. I guess I just kinda went with the first thought that popped in my head. --Burgundy 09:07, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Ok the DP190 preview has been shown that Happiny IS a major character in the episode and with Happiny doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for over a hundred episodes I think that this page should be protected.....I mean it's obvious... Ataro 23:31, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

I concur, I think the article should be protected. The final shot of the preview was Happiny looking over the injured pokemon and then a closeup of Happiny looking very worried. It strongly suggests an evolution is going to take place. As this is meant to be his sendoff episode, most likely to be a doctor, as suggested by the title, Happiny's evolution is supported by the title itself using 2 + 2 = 4 theory of Nurse Joys always having a Chansey or Blissey. Myzou 05:58, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Nothing is getting protected. There's nothing suggesting it will evolve. "Having a major role in the episode" and "Looking concerned for injured Pokémon" are not valid reasons. It only gets protected when we A) see Happiny glowing, or B) see a Chansey somewhere without Nurse Joy around. Chansey isn't even confirmed in this episode. We don't protect on fanon speculation. If someone tries to change the article, then we'll protect it. But right now, the reasons are not strong enough to warrant a protection. --ケンジガール 18:18, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

And besides Brock is not even leaving in this episode he is leaving in DP191 it's confirmed. I would love for Happiny to evolve but I don't think it will due to lack of training.RBK 19:37, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Please Protect This NOW!!!!!

Picture

Someone change the picture on this article to chansey.--KayKay|Chat to me! 11:58, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

If we had a picture we would. --HoennMaster 12:59, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Softboiled

on serebii it said that chansey used softboiled to heal the pokemon on the ship Eevee obsessed 008 14:13, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Speaking of which, I think it's safe to remove the cross from its attacks.GreatLiver 16:40, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Why? As far as I'm aware, Chansey's only used Pound and Softboiled in that episode, not Secret Power. And why is the article still protected? The episode has aired already. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 20:53, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Seriously?

Seriously mods, it appeared as Chansey for a whole two minutes, no need to have in on lock down for a couple weeks, or even at all. --HoennMaster 20:35, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Move Template

When the mods will decide to unlock this page, here's the "Moves Used" Template ready. --- unsigned comment from Crikko (talkcontribs)

[[File:a:File:Chansey Softboiled.png|200px]]
Using Softboiled
Move First Used In
Pound  One Big Happiny Family!
Secret Power Tanks for the Memories
Softboiled  DP190
A shows that the move was used recently, unless all moves fit this case or there are fewer than five known moves.
But why is the page still locked to begin with? I thought it was just speculation crackdown until the episode aired. Well, it aired, and the article is still protected. Why? - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 22:00, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Well, i don't know! We only have to wait, probably :) --Criққѳ~* 22:02, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Trivia

As a Happiny, she was the first among the main characters' Pokémon to have been given and kept a held item, in this case, an Oval Stone made by Brock. The second is Dawn's Piplup, which was given an Everstone.

This was in the trivia.

But I thought (forgive me if I'm wrong) that Misty gave a King's Rock or something like that? Danny2579 09:41, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

King's Rock vanished upon evolution. Happiny held that Oval Stone for a pretty long time and Piplup should still have its Everstone. —darklordtrom 10:58, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
Not to mention Misty never gave Poliwhirl the King's Rock, it found Ash's and it only appeared on Poliwhirl for two seconds. --HoennMaster 14:24, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Voice Actor

Is it true she kept the same voice actress after evolving? I wasn't sure, and I don't know where the info came from Bubblewrap 22:45, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

May be?

I know it sound ridiculous but I think unique ability of brock chansey might be Huge Power. Like Azumarill and its evolution line,It was cute pokemon and seem really weak but possed ability of monstrous stregth. - unsigned comment from Meearaimeng (talkcontribs)

It's just strong and that's that. No special ability or anything Ataro 11:50, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
