I agree that we should remove the trivia for whatever my opinion's worth (which doesn't seem to be much). Nutter Butter (talk) 18:45, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

Pumpkinking0192 is the real MVP.
Battle script
"You are challenged by Team Bulba Admin Force Fire!" "Force Fire used Speculate! It's not very effective..." "Pumpkinking0192 used Undo! It's super effective!" "Player defeated Team Bulba Admin Force Fire!"—Okay, I should really stop. --Lmoamemesxd (talk) 01:42, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Its not Blue

This guy is not Blue. The subs clearly state multiple times that he is Green.--Stevemagegod (talk) 22:32, 29 October 2013 (UTC)Stevemagegod

None of the subs are official. Also, the subs are for the Japanese version, where he is named Green. His official English name is Blue. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 22:34, 29 October 2013 (UTC)

Blue may have caught 149 pokemon

He might have caught Trio legendary birds Pokemon as shows in the tv anime their more than one super rare pokemon as proven many times in tv anime Ash met Lugia in the movie and another one in the Johto season as mother to the infant. --SilverioBOMB (talk) 04:56, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

The Origins was based off the games, so it follows the game's logic not the anime's.--ForceFire 04:58, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

oh but on the File 4: Charizard trivia saids Blue caught 149 pokemon so it must be wrong--SilverioBOMB (talk) 05:04, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Blue said in the show that he had caught 149 Pokémon, so that's not incorrect.--ForceFire 05:17, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Oh i see what i type mistake onBlue page saids 148 pokemon not 149 sorry that u misunderstood me my bad --SilverioBOMB (talk) 05:19, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Trivia undone

I am not referring to the anime—in the games and presumably Origins, the "multiple" constant remains. For example, Trevor in X and Y likely owns a Mewtwo (show him a Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, he will comment on how he also owns one) and Latias' Emerald description states that 'they make a small herd'. If you absolutely must keep the trivia point, modify "as there are only one of each of the Legendary birds" to "as there may be only one of each of the Legendary birds"—it is highly probable that the birds are not unique. --Lmoamemesxd (talk) 02:24, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

I mean, at the very least, the last part of the trivia should be removed since it's speculation. Bulbapedia tries to pride itself on not allowing speculation, and this trivia point goes against that policy. slimey01 03:01, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
Dex entries tend to spout BS. And other trainers owning Legendaries doesn't mean anything. If you can only catch one in the wild, then that means there's only one. Why other trainers have legendaries is just the case of it just being what it is.--ForceFire 04:09, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

Just because dex entries tend to spout BS doesn't mean you can conveniently assume that they all do - so-called "BS" dex entries make outlandish claims, like Combusken and its ten kicks per second... Latias travelling in herds is perfectly feasible and not an example of this "BS". Anyway, your point that because there's only one obtainable in the wild to a player there must only be one in existence is undermined by several in-game instances - by your logic, there were only two Snorlax to exist in Generation I. Moreover, stating that trainers having legendary Pokémon is "just a case of being what it is" is vague and doesn't hold much weight. Yes, trainers with these Pokémon are typically within battle facilities and appear randomly in the case of trainers who aren't Frontier Brains... but what about Benga in BW2? Your battle with him, in which he uses a Legendary Pokémon, is acknowledged outside the facility in which it takes place. Therefore the battle happened and his Pokémon team wasn't just "what it was" (i.e. for the purpose of providing the player with the challenge). But the bottom line is that the way the trivia is written suggests that the speculation on the author's part is fact, when there is insufficient evidence and no confirmation for this being the case. Like Slimey01 said, Bulbapedia's policy is to be based on information that has been confirmed. Anyway, have a nice day. --Da real dat boi (talk) 18:19, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
