In the description for the Battle Hall says it is the only place in the Battle Frontier that can have pokémon at higher than level 50, but the Battle Arcade can make pokémon be level 53.  Should this be changed?

Map Picture of where the Frontier is in Johto

the picture to side where it says Location in Sinnoh and Johto is untrue, it only shows its location in Sinnoh we that line changed until we have a map picture of the location in Johto. --DSDark 20:52, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Battle Frontier artwork

The artwork of the Battle Frontier appears twice in this article, and they state two different illustrators. Which one is the real illustrator, and is it necessary to have two? --Angela-Samshi 20:40, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

It's not necessary. And the pic is by Midori Harada. —darklordtrom 20:43, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Battle Hall Fans

Just wondering if anyone else playing the main male character in Platinum has Serena. The article says that guys get Winston. Has someone got the genders the wrong way around?--D i o n 2 4 04:28, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

something's up

for some reason, even after defeating 21 trainers in the battle arcade i didn't get a silver print or get challenged by the arcade brain. why?--Fern 24 15:45, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Did you battle them without stoping? if not, she won't challenge you. Shiny Pika 23:10, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Actually, it doesn't matter if you stop. You can stop and take a rest. It matters if you won them consecutively, as in did you win them in a row or did you lose some in between? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 23:14, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

shnies in the factory

today i went to challenge the battle factory, defeated this one trainer who had a regular cubone. i decided that i was going to trade for it but i had to rest because i had to go somewhere. i came back, traded for the cubone and found out it was SHINY! so does this mean that the factory gives you different pokemon from those that you battled? heres the battle video number for one of the battles i used the cubone: 78-50402-72221. i lost though so i dont have the cubone any more : ( Fudgenuggets 07:18, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

Pokémon can appear Shiny in the Battle Frontier as well as in the wild, so you aren't very lucky you saw one there. Your Cubone was shiny because when you continued from your Save, the RNG (Random Number Generator) made the Cubone shiny. Shinytwo 16:44, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I don't see how he's not lucky, that seems very lucky to me, how many random shinies do you see? Malake256 19:07, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Shinies are rare, nothing more. They're not stronger or anything. And yes, you can find them in the Battle Frontier. It's rare, but it happens. R.A. Hunter Blade 19:14, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Shinies have the same chance of appearing in the battle frontier as in the wild, but it might only be possible in the battle hall and factory, why battle hall? the opponent, I seem to remember battleing Argenta as she used a shiny Regice without sparkles.--Pika3323 00:41, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Stat Judge Needs More Info

(I actually edited the page, but changed it back after I realized this was a Featured Article...)

The Stat Judge section is dangerously empty. He is extremely useful for breeding for IVs, and the section should have a table of the things he says - maybe even a page of his own. This is the only mention of him. Here's what the Platinum Player's Guide says (so far, it seems correct).

Overall Stats Highest Stat
Decent Rather Decent
Above Average Very Good
Outstanding Fantastic
Relatively Superior Can't Be Better

Sorry, I'm a newb to editing Bulbapedia. Does my name get attached to this??

--User:Dsaerno

Actually, If the highest stats have the same number, the stats judge will say them according to this order: HP, Atk, Def, Sp.Atk, Sp.Def and Spe. E.g. 31 IVs in Atk and Speed would mean that he would say "It can't be better" for Atk first then Spe second, also by the looks of it, the stats judge seems to be a legit checker considering the fact that a hacked "flawless" Pokemon will have an outstanding rating but the stats judge will only say "It can't be better" for one stat, not all of them, whereas for a legit Pokemon, that stats judge will actually mention all of them. --Animecheck 06:09, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Battle Factory etc.. in Diamond?

Hi there.
I'm looking for the Battle Factory in Diamond, however I can only see the Battle Tower in the Battle Park..
Is the Battle Factory actually in Diamond, or is it Platinum only?
Cheers.
Smashman 12:33, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

This isn't the place to ask those type of questions, also please read the article. insomniac
It seems like a perfectly good place to ask.. I also read the article, it didn't seem clear to me. Smashman 10:33, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
It's only in Platinum.--ForceFire 10:57, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't believe this "it didn't seem clear". It says right at the top of the article. "The Battle Frontier is a special post-league area featured in the Generation IV games, Pokémon Platinum and HeartGold and SoulSilver." -Sketch 11:50, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
I see. Thanks. Seems a shame.. Smashman 12:58, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Battle Arcade error?

Is there any reason to actually believe the BP spaces on the board allow you to skip battles? I just did 28 rounds of Battle Arcade today and every time I hit the BP space, I still had to battle. --The Great Butler 03:59, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

You don't skip battles, I'm just about to edit that out. I'm wondering this stemmed from, the first result on Google for "Battle arcade" is a page that says the same thing. --Cyberdude93 08:27, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

It says you battle the brain in Sinnoh after 21 battles, but I am at 28, and I haven't seen her. Gliscorguy54 22:12, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Have you had 21 consecutive wins? If you lose the number resets to zero. I've definitely battled her on my third time through. Werdnae (talk) 23:02, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
They were consecutive, and by the way, you can bring 4 pokemon to the Tower in Platinum, I am doing it right now. Gliscorguy54 00:05, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Four Pokémon. . . isn't that double battle mode? The frontier brains only appear on Single player Single battle mode. Werdnae (talk) 00:22, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Really? That stinks. Well, I'll try again. Gliscorguy54 21:46, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Gaining fans

In Battle Hall, what fans are gained in HGSS? ht14 01:07, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

BP

For amount of BP gained, could we say "Plenty" instead of "Lots." It just sounds more educated. WeavilePwns 00:29, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

"Plenty" connotes "enough". Ambiguity is the poor man's eloquence. --PLA 16:40, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Shedinja in Battle Arcade

If you're in the Battle Arcade with a Shedinja, and hit the button which causes your team to lose some HP, will Shedinja faint before it is sent out, or right after? Shinytwo 20:15, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

That event lowers HP by 20%. 20% of 1HP is less than 1HP, so Shedinja shouldn't lose anything at all. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 23:38, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Tauros in Battle Tower

Just tried to enter Johto Battle Tower with Tauros, was notified it was banned. No info here, looking for confirmation. CommanderRook 19:09, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

You probably had a repeated item on it. You can't use the same item on more than one Pokemon - unsigned comment from Malake256 (talkcontribs)

Battle Arcade Game Board Pictures

It would be nice to see what the effect's pictures are. Can someone upload them. that would help greatly. Thanks!! --Moretacos 02:19, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Accuracy with Battle Castle Rewards?

Okay, so I just finished a battle in the Battle Castle, and using the table, I should have received 49 CP. However, I only got 43. No Pokémon fainted (9), they all started and finished with full health (9), 2 Pokémon did not recieve status ailments (2), I won using only 4 PP (8), and all 3 of the opponent's Pokémon had their levels raised (21). By my math, 9+9+2+8+21=49. Clearly, there is either some error in these numbers, or there are unknown conditions that can be met to recieve CP. I have no means to do so, but this should be looked into. If it helps, I was playing Heart Gold. Sidnoea 06:03, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Two legendarys

So, if in the battle hall, you enter a double battle, you require two of the same pokemon? right? so, when battling, the trainer has the same pokemon, same level, different genders. does this mean that argenta could have (when battled) 2 regices?--Pika3323 01:25, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

You're not allowed to have two of the same Pokémon in any facility. ht14 01:32, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
But in the battle hall it says that you must have two of the same pokemon so a togekiss and a togekiss.--Pika3323 01:36, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Yes you could battle someone with 2 legendaries. Pikiwyn talk 09:31, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Just another question, who is "Serena"?--Pika3323 23:23, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
She's a fan. Pikiwyn talk 13:37, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Manga

I make a manga place of the battle frontier.- unsigned comment from Nazirbashir (talkcontribs)

Huh?

How is this article a featured article but is also incomplete at the same time? :--SuperAipom7 (Questions?) 13:41, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

It became a featured article a long time ago. Featured articles keep their featured status. The incomplete template is more recent. I don't know, but it could possibly have been a featured article before it appeared in a manga, making it complete at the time of featuring. Werdnae (talk) 20:41, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Legendary Beasts

In Heartgold, I found that the sniny legendary beasts that were given out through a mystery gift event can participate. Should this be noted? Pgj1997 18:30, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

No. The Beasts are already allowed to enter, shiny or not. --P S Yライダー 18:37, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Battle Hall mistake?

In the description for the Battle Hall says it is the only place in the Battle Frontier that can have pokémon at higher than level 50, but the Battle Arcade can make pokémon be level 53. Should this be changed? --Bulbachartortle 17:09, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
