"Jessie, James and Meowth do not appear in this episode, marking their fourth non-appearance in a row." Let's not do this every episode...--Burgundy 22:44, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

  • Noone knows this until the episode has aired anyway. ----samm :) 22:53, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I'm just saying, if they don't appear for a few episodes, let's not keep posting this trivia--Burgundy 22:59, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
As annoying as it is, it is notable, since they were/are main characters on the show, ranking only below Ash and Pikachu in the number of episodes that they have appeared in. In fact, up until this season, they were the same as Ash and Pikachu (permanent characters) as they appeared in every episode. This string of absences is unprecedented for them, so until they come back (theoretically in BW 22 and 23), we will keep putting that on every episode, as there is no reason not to (other than the annoyance factor, and as far as that goes, there is really nothing we can do about it). --ジェダイの騎士デジタルテレビ 23:06, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Actually, there is no reason to put it on every episode. Just the last episode. We don't need notes every episode saying how long it's been. One if more than enough. --HoennMaster 00:30, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I have to agree with HM and Burgundy on this one, sorry Jedi Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 00:32, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I agree with Jedi, it's definitely notable. --Nathan2055talk 01:16, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I would just put it on the first episode or instance they are absent and say something like, "Starting from this episode to BWxxx, they are absent" and on the episode they return say, "This episode marks the return of the trio from their 3 episode hiatus". All the in-between episodes don't require the trivia. - Vhayes1992 01:34, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
And if they are currently absent as of the latest Japanese episode, just put on the latest Japanese episode's article that they have been absent since episode BWxxx". - Vhayes1992 01:41, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I actually like the idea that Vhayes had, and I would be okay with doing something like that. The problem is, it is fine once the arc of episodes is over, but what do you do in the middle of the arc, while they are being absent? You would constantly be editing pages, taking it on and off. I dropped KG a line on her talkpage, and asked her to take a look at this, and give her opinion. As leader of Project Anime, and a Senior Admin, I will be good with whatever she decides. —ジェダイの騎士デジタルテレビ 01:45, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I agree with Vhayes, and actually I found this page because I'm watching KG's Talk page. --Nathan2055talk 03:13, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Sure the tideous editing issue is not solved with my idea but atleast the trivia is not going to be on every episode's page. - 'Vhayes1992 03:28, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
And really, if this idea is implemented and we are currently in an arch of episodes where the trio is gone, it would only be a single edit by someone per week/episode. - Vhayes1992 03:41, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
