Hmm

Denny you might as well remove the top part...the images prove that Meguroco isn't the same one from BW003...no sunglasses and it's a wimp Ataro 18:16, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

I'm going to keep it because of that ending where that Meguroco smiled. It could have aquaphobia or acrophobia due to being Ground type (if they are on bridge where Koaruhie appear in games).----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 18:28, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
And regarding to glasses, remember Squirtle?----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 18:30, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Are you Sure?

Isn't it a bit too hasty to assume Ash's Meguroco is the Sunglasses Meguroco? I know it's appearing again in BW012, but what about Ash's egg? --Dman dustin 23:34, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

LOL, Never mind, apparently I didn't scroll down enough. LOL, seriously wow. So forget I said anything.--Dman dustin 00:52, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Sunglasses Meguroco

I think it's a tad soon to be removing it entirely. It's not 100% confirmed that that egg hatches into Meguroco, although I admit it's entirely possible. But for all we know, the egg could hatch into Zuruggu and go to Iris, a'la Togepi, then Ash'll catch the sunglasses Meguroco. Or the egg hatches into something different that Ash Oaks for Meguroco. Or something. All I'm saying it, it's a bit too soon to be doing anything more than acknoweledging the possibility that the egg is Meguroco. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 00:39, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Well, maybe I restore it again.----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 13:53, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Leaked concept art

Instead of using the Dream World art, would you prefer this image? Or if not, would you prefer that the Sugimori art is used? --SnorlaxMonster 06:59, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, the concept art would be better.----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 13:53, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Waruvile?

I'm not 100% sure if it made a major impact to plot, so we should wait for Kenji.----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 14:43, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Looks ready to move to me, I guess we are still waiting on KG though. I think it could probably use a little bit more on what happened to it during BW020, though. --ジェダイの騎士デジタルテレビ 21:28, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
So, Waruvile (anime) or Sunglasses Waruvile?--Burgundy 21:32, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I'd go with Sunglasses Waruvile, I could write about the battle but I'm not sure what went on before that, I think the sunglassess were explained but I don't understand Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 21:39, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd go with Sunglasses Waruvile too. I mean, it was Sunglasses Sandile before, so changing it to Waruvile (anime) would be a bit odd. So, my vote is on Sunglasses Waruvile. -I Liek Gengarz! Do Joo Liek Dem? 21:45, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Please excuse me if I am wrong, but isn't the convention to name it Waruvile (anime)? I mean, Squirtle wore sunglasses too, once upon a time. Also, just because Ash didn't end up catching it in BW020 doesn't mean that he (or someone else) won't catch it in the future, so moving it to Waruvile (anime) makes more sense to me. Isn't it also easier to link to with a template this way (I might be wrong about that, so forgive me if I don't know what I am talking about)? I personally like Sunglasses Waruvile better than Waruvile (anime), but I am just sayin...--ジェダイの騎士デジタルテレビ 21:49, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
But didn't Ash call it Sunglasses Meguroco in the BW020 preview? Blazios 21:57, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I watched BW020 and updated the page, as for noatabilaty, it has followed them for 17 episodes, appeared in 3 and had 2 of those focus on it, additionaly, it evolved, and I don't think anyone expects this to be its last appearance Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 23:08, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

A little help?

Can someone that understands Japanese watch the episode and answer a question for me that I am curious about? I am wondering if Ash was specifically trying to capture Sandile during the battle before it evolved into Waruvile (before Pikachu sent it blasting off), or if Sandile/Waruvile just wanted to have a battle with Pikachu for some other reason (i.e. to see who was stronger, rivalry, etc.)? We never saw Ash bring out a Poké Ball to try to capture it, but that doesn't mean that wasn't his intent with the battle. Please and thank you. --ジェダイの騎士デジタルテレビ 00:07, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Sandile wanted to fight Pikachu, I'm not sure wheather Ash wanted to catch it Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 00:10, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Black Glasses

I think he is wearing one because it enhances his dark type!!! right Badwolf1234 03:27, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Not necessarily. We do not know for a fact that they are Black Glasses. And this is a subject for the forums. --ジェダイの騎士デジタルテレビ 04:16, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Black Glasses?

Nope. In the anime game items are always identical to their game images and Krokkodile's glasses aren't even black.----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 08:40, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

A little question

The recent popularity poll done by pokesho site (though I have been drawn up by the Japanese official site of best Wishes) Sandile who considered the favorite of viewers of the series deserves to be no mention in the topic?--Hikaru Wazana 22:10, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

But that could be for Sandile in general, not specifically this one. J-J-M 22:36, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Trubbish & Krokorok?

  • So, someone put Trubbish & Krokorok instead of Yabukuron & Waruvile. Was that confirmed from an official source? I know it was from the leaked list, but Bulbapedia wont accept names until they come from an official source. Torpoleon 16:44, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
They're from a British game magazine. I think that some staff members are currently thinking whether the names are official enough. However, we shouldn't change them back unless admins say so.----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 16:49, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
The magazine is somewhat dubious as a source, since their screenshots are obviously from a ROM, and thus we have to wonder if they even have the game in English. Of course, we understand that these names are almost certainly legit, but we can't consider this magazine any more of an official source than some anonymous poster on GameFAQs if they don't actually have the game. Trivia

Can it be agreed on that the piece of trivia "Krokorok is the second reptilian Pokémon to wear glasses, next to Ash's Squirtle"

Squirtle and the Squirtle Squad really is the first thing to come to mind with a Pokémon wearing Glasses. Thanks. —MasterKenobi 01:09, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

Sandile KO'ed from Electric Type

Isn't Sandile is supposed to be not effective by Electro Ball it's a Electric type move and Sandile is a Ground Type --Funicode 02:24, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Firstly, anime =/= games. Secondly, he wasn't really "knocked out". Knocked out emphasizes that the Pokémon was hurt and fainted, identified by the swirly eyes. It seems to me it was merely force of Electro Ball that sent it flying, but that doesn't mean it was actually injured by the attack. Especially considering electric attacks were shown to be ineffective earlier in the same episode... Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 02:32, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Uh, no. Ground-types aren't affected by Electric moves in the anime too. Also, Electro Ball sent the Stone Edge back at it, which is why it was sent flying. Ataro 02:40, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Typically Ground-types aren't affected, Ataro. But there have been a few exceptions...Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 02:47, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Eh, that was over a decade ago (well, next year it will be). More recent episodes (such as Ash's Palpitoad vs Burgundy's Stoutland) are using it. Ataro 02:59, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Ash's Pokémon Template

For the record, I watched the episode and there is no reason that the wild Cottonee should be on there and Sandile not. They were both treated in the exact same way. Its unfortunate that the templates are misleading as such but I don't think thats avoidable, unless you want to really crack down on the "temporary" section. Next Appearance

The article that says that SG Krokorok will appear is this: http://www.pokemon.name/attachment/Mon_1112/28_347468_86a97e572a83278.jpg?125 However it doesn't mention which episode so most people are just assuming that it is the next episode after the dark stone one.RBK 02:36, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

It says it'll air on February 2, 2012. BW064 airs January 26, 2012. Proof enough for me. :P Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 02:43, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

I think we should hold out on putting on the page yet. Since we don't have a title yet, the link just takes it to a blank page, making putting it on the page now kinda pointless.

Title (which would be irrelevant by next week)

But why didn't this page start at "Sandile (anime)" and move to "Krokorok (anime)"? I'm pretty sure Jigglypuff was never titled "Microphone Jigglypuff", right?--SandmanDP 17:40, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

Ask Dennou, he was the one who created this page. -- ✔Pokégeek✔ 18:55, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Official summaries as well as Ash at a couple of points called it "Sandile/Krokorok with the sunglasses". No one ever called Jigglypuff "Jigglypuff with the microphone". Also, Poke.geek, I was the one who named the article. Check the history. ––ケンジガール 20:04, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Actually, I was the one who came up with the name after hearing Ash call it "Sunglasses Sandile" in the Japanese version of BW012...Ataro 20:59, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
In that case, the fact that this is an official name and not a "We didn't know how else to call it" situation should be noted in the article--SandmanDP 21:16, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh, that's right. I just moved it to the title. Sorry about that. ^^; --ケンジガール 23:40, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Well, in BW012, Ash actually called it the Meguroko with the Sunglasses, in the preview for BW065, it even called Krokorok, Sunglasses Warubiru. Playerking95 13:23, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Evo tag?

Why is the evo tag being used in the suspected capture label? It is a suspected capture, not a suspected evolution. サトシ 22:14, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

Becuase it's actually called the EpiProtect template. We just use the evolution art because that's the most frequently used reason for protecting articles. It may be a little misleading, but it's the actual text that matters. --Pokemaster97 22:17, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
Then, I guess it should be fine as long as users actually read the text. サトシ 22:26, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

Trivia

At the place where it says that Krokrok is the second Pokémon since Ash's Primeape to evolve on-screen, should we note that it evolved because of Ash's Pikachu down under the sentence of this. We know it evolved it because Ash's Pikachu. --Station7 18:00, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

I don't think so. It's already mentioned in the article that Pikachu caused it's evolution. Mentioning it again would be redundant. --Pokemaster97 18:43, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
I mean this, because it's now Ash's Pokémon as well. --Station7 18:55, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Bite

If Krokorok used Crunch in BW065 then where's the proof that Sandile's Bite wasn't Crunch all this time? it has never been confirmed Bite in any version. Now with the animation, it's exactly the same as Clay's Krokorok's Bite attack. - unsigned comment from Pao27 (talkcontribs)

Trust me it had bite too, when it used bite to break Ash out of the ice in BW020, it looked nothing like Crunch. Also Crunch doesn't have the after animation like Bite does.RBK 04:33, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, Ash said it was bite in BW020, when Sandile went to bite Pikachu when they battled near the beginning. It had Bite, but now it has Crush also/instead. Playerking95 13:08, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Intro

Should we really say "also known as Sunglasses Krokorok" in the opening? As far as I know, wasn't that just a fanon name? If that's the case I don't think we should have a fan name in the opening paragraph. --HoennMaster 20:46, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

It was called Sunglasses Krokorok in the anime in BW065 and a couple other times. --Pokemaster97 20:50, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Sandile and Ash

Should we add at the trivia that Ash temporary used it as a Sandile? --Station7 15:48, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

How do you mean Used? As a Sandile it never let Ash command it attacks to use, in fact its capture was the first time it did Azure/ChromeVoid42 17:00, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
He temporary commanded it in BW020 against the Ducklett. But I don't think their words specifically need to be in the trivia since it's already in the history section. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 17:24, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
