TV Tokyo (Japanese: 株式会社テレビ東京, Kabushiki gaisha Terebi Tōkyō) is a TV station based in Tokyo, Japan. TV Tokyo is located in the Minato destrict of Tokyo. Its current president is Shimada Masayuki.

TV Tokyo was launched on April 12, 1964 as Tokyo Channel 12 Production, Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社東京12チャンネルプロダクション, Kabushiki gaisha Tōkyō 12 Channeru Purodakushon). In 1973, the station changed its name to Tokyo Channel 12, Ltd.. Another name change in 1983 gave the station its current name, Television Tokyo Channel 12, Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社テレビ東京, Kabushiki gaisha Terebi Tōkyō).
