Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield (Japanese: ソード Sword and シールド Shield) is the name given to the first main expansion of cards from the Sword & Shield Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (the Sword & Shield Era in Japan). The set introduces Generation VIII and Pokémon-V in the card game.

Sword & Shield is the name given to the first main expansion of the Sword & Shield Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as the Sword · Shield subsets that make up the first expansion block in the Pokémon Card Game Sword & Shield Era. It is based on Pokémon Sword & Shield, featuring Generation VIII Pokémon, with focus on the two game Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta. The Japanese subsets will be released on December 6, 2019 and the English expansion on February 7, 2020.
