(Not speculation, the documents in game back it up. Though they do not mention Darkrai directly, they mention his abilities and refer to Dark Void)

The mumblings of the ghost strongly suggest that [[Darkrai]] is responsible in some way for her fate. The voice advises her to stay away from the Lunar Wing, which would bring an end to Darkrai.

Strange House (Japanese: ストレンジャーハウス Stranger House) is a lone house at the base of Reversal Mountain.

The exterior of the Strange House

It is actively haunted by a ghost who appeared on the Marvelous Bridge in Pokémon Black and White. This ghost intentionally arranges furniture to force the player to enter various rooms. The player is able to leave the house at any time though. At the end, the player will receive the Lunar Wing.
