When released in English, all Pokémon featured in the deck were included in the {{TCG|Undaunted}} expansion with the exception of Onix and Steelix, which were released in the earlier {{TCG|Unleashed}} expansion. These cards and the deck in general inspired the basis for the Unleashed expansion's accompanying {{TCG|Steel Sentinel}} {{TCG|Theme deck|theme deck}}.

The Steelix Constructed Standard Deck (Japanese: 構築スタンダードデッキ ハガネール鋼 Pre-built Standard Deck Haganeil Metal) is a Japanese-exclusive full deck that complements the Reviving Legends expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
