An Other attack is an attack that, in the Pokémon games, does no direct damage, but instead causes a weather condition, status effect, or raises the stats of a Pokémon during battle.
The majority of Normal and Psychic moves are in the "Other" category, and the only Unknown attack, Curse is also in this category.
