The Sport Ball (Japanese: コンペボール Compé Ball) is a type of Poké Ball introduced in Generation II. It can be used to catch wild Pokémon during a National Park Bug-Catching Contest.
Prior to Generation IV, this Poké Ball was called the Park Ball (Japanese: パークボール Park Ball), likely renamed to avoid confusion with the Park Balls used at Pal Park.
