Sophocles's Charjabug (Japanese: マーマネのデンヂムシ Māmane's Denjimushi) is Sophocles's first caught Pokémon, and his second overall.

History

In SM026, Ash was looking for a farewell present for Sophocles due to the latter soon moving away, and decided to go look for a Charjabug at Rotom Pokédex's suggestion. With the help of Pikachu, Rockruff, and Litten, he was able to dig it up and trap it in a cage. Ash later let it out after showing up to Sophocles's farewell party and let him catch it. Sophocles had Togedemaru battle Charjabug before capturing it.
