Solid Rock (Japanese: ハードロック Hard Rock) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Four Pokémon can have this ability, all of which have one or more double weaknesses.

Effect

In battle

Solid Rock reduces super effective damage by 1/4. A move that would deal 2x damage will instead deal 1.5x damage, and a move that would deal 4x will instead deal 3x.

Outside of battle
