SmokeScreen (Japanese: えんまく Smokescreen) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
SmokeScreen lowers the target's Accuracy stat by one stage. SmokeScreen will do nothing if the target's Accuracy stage is at -6, and will fail if the target has a Substitute or is under the effect of Mist.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
The user will give an opposing Pokémon the Whiffer status. Under the Whiffer status, the opposing Pokémon will always miss with any attack; even moves like Faint Attack or Aerial Ace will miss.
