Biology
Slurpuff is a white, bipedal Pokémon. It has reddish pink eyes with white pupils and is usually seen with its tongue poking out of the corner of its mouth. On top of its head is a mass of fluffy pink fur with a red sphere on top. On either side of its head, its pink fur forms a spherical shape similar to ears. Around its neck is a wavy, red collar and there is a red spot on the left side of its chest. It has small, pink feet with three toes and stubby arms. Slurpuff has an exceptionally keen sense of smell that is 100 million times stronger than that of a human. This allows it to distinguish even the faintest of smells.

Slurpuff is a white, bipedal Pokémon. It has reddish-pink eyes with white pupils and is usually seen with its tongue poking out of the corner of its mouth. When its mouth is open, two upper fangs can be seen. On top of its head is a mass of fluffy pink fur with a red cherry-like sphere on top. On either side of its head, its pink fur forms a spherical shape similar to ears. Around its neck is a wavy, red collar and there is a red spot on the left side of its chest. It has small, pink feet with three toes and stubby arms.

In the anime
Slurpuff has an exceptionally keen sense of smell that is 100 million times stronger than that of a human. This allows it to distinguish even the faintest of smells and assist pastry chefs in the cooking. Slurpuff can tell a person's mental and physical condition by taking in their scent. Its fur contains a lot of air, making it light and soft to the touch.

Major appearances
Slurpuff debuted in A Battle by Any Other Name!, under the ownership of Miette. She is her main Pokémon, which she uses in every Pokémon Showcase she competes in. She was Ash's Pikachu's first dance partner during Party Dancecapades!. Slurpuff was also used during a Multi Battle with James and James. They went up against Ash and Serena, who were using Pikachu and Serena, but were defeated when Eevee evolved into Sylveon.

A male Slurpuff appeared in Rivals: Today and Tomorrow!, under the ownership of Sawyer. Sawyer first used Slurpuff during a battle against Ash, where he battled Hawlucha but was defeated. Slurpuff next appeared in Valuable Experience for All!, during Sawyer's battle against Tierno in the Lumiose Conference. He battled Raichu before being defeated by Tierno. Sawyer used Slurpuff against Ash once more in A Riveting Rivalry!; he battled Goodra, which ultimately resulted in a tie.
Prior to Generation VII, Slurpuff and its pre-evolved form, Swirlix, were the only known Pokémon that could have Sweet Veil as an Ability.

A Slurpuff appeared in Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, under the ownership of Raleigh. It was Raleigh's companion, and eventually proceeded to become his partner when Raleigh decided to set off on a Pokémon journey by the end of the movie.
Evolution
Slurpuff evolves from Swirlix.

Origin
Origin
Slurpuff is based on the meringue, a dessert made from whipped egg whites and sugar. It is often topped with whipped cream and fruits to create a meringue nest. The red sphere on its head resembles a fruit topping such as a strawberry or cherry. Meringue is also used as a sweet base on other various desserts such as cakes, pies and pastries. Slurpuff may also be based on cupcakes or Japanese-style mille-feuille. Cupcakes are sometimes referred to as fairy cakes, which may be an inspiration for its type. Considering its lolling tongue, nose, paws, and ear-like circular extensions on its head, it may also be based on a dog, possibly a Bichon Frise or poodle.

Slurpuff (Japanese: ペロリーム Peroream) is a Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI.

It evolves from Swirlix when traded while holding a Whipped Dream.

Biology

Slurpuff with its mouth open and fangs visible

Slurpuff is a white, bipedal Pokémon. It has reddish-pink eyes with white pupils and is usually seen with its tongue poking out of the corner of its mouth. When its mouth is open, two upper fangs can be seen. On top of its head is a mass of fluffy pink fur with a red cherry-like sphere on top. On either side of its head, its pink fur forms a spherical shape similar to ears. Around its neck is a wavy, red collar and there is a red spot on the left side of its chest. It has small, pink feet with three toes and stubby arms.

Prior to Generation VII, Slurpuff and its pre-evolved form, Swirlix, were the only known Pokémon that could have Sweet Veil as an Ability.

Evolution

Slurpuff evolves from Swirlix.

Trivia

Origin

Slurpuff is based on meringue, a dessert made from whipped egg whites and sugar. It is often topped with whipped cream and fruits to create a meringue nest. The red sphere on its head resembles a fruit topping such as a strawberry or cherry, which may refer to the phrase "Cherry on top". Meringue is also used as a sweet base on other various desserts such as cakes, pies, and pastries. Slurpuff may also be based on cupcakes or Japanese-style mille-feuille. Cupcakes are sometimes referred to as fairy cakes, which may be an inspiration for its type. Considering its lolling tongue, nose, paws, ear-like circular extensions on its head, and exceptional sense of smell, it may also be based on a dog, possibly a Bichon Frise or poodle. The pink part of its body resembles a bib and the spot under it resembles a food stain.

Name origin

Slurpuff may be a combination of slurp and puff.

Peroream may be a combination of ペロペロ peropero (onomatopoeia for licking) and cream.
