Skyler
This article is about the Johto character of the day. For character from Spell of the Unown, see Schuyler.

Skyler (Japanese: トビオ Tobio) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime. He first appeared in The Big Balloon Blow-Up. His dream is to become a professional hot air balloon pilot.

He convinced Ash and his friends to participate in the Hot Air Balloon Race. His father, Tenma, lent Ash and friends a Pikachu shaped balloon. During the course of the race Team Rocket had sabotaged many of the competition's balloons and then cheated by using a rocket launcher on Ash's Noctowl and Pikachu. Skyler used his Fearow's Drill Peck to destroy Team's Rocket rocket launcher and save Ash's Pokémon.

He tied for first place with Ash; they won the first place prize, a hot air balloon engine. However, Ash gave it to Skyler to help fulfill his dreams of becoming a professional hot air balloon pilot.

Fearow
Skyler's Fearow is Skyler strongest Pokémon and helps to pull his Fearow Balloon. It first appeared training with its owner and scared Ash and his friends thinking it was Team Rocket. He introduces himself and Fearow helps with Ash's Noctowl to pull the balloons. The day of the race begins and Team Rocket are sabotaging the balloons. Suddenly a huge storm whips up, they are able to get out and Team Rocket causes more havoc. Fearow helps to send Team Rocket blasting off and comes joint first with Ash and his friends.

Fearow's only known move is Drill Peck.
