A Skier (Japanese: スキーヤー Skier) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation II games. They look like young women (and, in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, young men) dressed in winter clothing and on skis.

At first, they appeared to be the female counterparts of Boarders. However, in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, they appeared in both genders as Skiers. The male Skier also looks nearly identical to a Boarder in outfit design.

In Generation II, these Trainers are only seen in Pryce's Gym; an additional Skier can be found in the Seafoam Islands, in HeartGold and SoulSilver. In Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, they're on Routes 216 and 217.

They specialize in Template:Type2 Pokémon.
