Route 206 is a route in Sinnoh. It features Sinnoh's Cycling Road. Because of the location at which the bicycle is first obtained, this route can only be used to travel southward at first. East of the southern gatehouse is a path that can be entered if the player uses Cut; this leads to the lower area of the route, and eventually to Wayward Cave.
Route description
The upper portion of the Route is a straight, narrow, sloped path, with several Trainers on it; this is the part known as Cycling Road. Between the two gatehouses, all travelers must ride a bicycle at all times. The path is sloped such that riders can coast southward on it with no effort, and near the southernmost end the path divides into two smaller paths for a short distance. In Pokémon Platinum, the Cycling Road has changed slightly, including an archway in its design.
