Ash and Lana hanging out in Yo, Ho, Ho! Go, Popplio!
BlueAngelShipping (Japanese: サトレン SatoRen) is the belief that Ash Ketchum and Lana belong in a romantic relationship.

Lana's hints
- When Ash and Pikachu are startled by the wild Bruxish, Lana proceeds to laugh a bit at them. Then again, Ash did humiliate himself.
- When Harper and Sarah ask Lana if Ash is her boyfriend, Lana's entire face turns a bright red. This might be out of frustration, though.
- When Popplio and Rowlet both go missing, Lana grabs Ash's arm and drags him alongside her to chase after them.
- When Olivia bumps into Ash and Lana as the two are heading to the site of the Totem Pokémon, she proceeds to ask them if they're on some sort of date. Lana's face proceeds to turn a bright red. This might be out of frustration, though.
- Ash's encouragement to Lana about mastering a Z-Move makes her perk up.

- BlueAngel is derived from the idea that Lana is pure and beautiful like an angel, and the fact that she has blue hair. The name was chosen by a poll against one other option, BlueBeltShipping.
