(Japanese: シマジオ Shimajio) is a character of the day who appeared in Meowth Rules!. Closed captions for the English dub on Prime Video refer to him as a druid.
He is an eccentric old man, and is one of the leaders of the Meowth clan on Golden Island. He worshipped Meowth because he thought that Meowth could bring the town riches with Pay Day, but since Meowth does not know Pay Day, he had to fight a Nidoking and an Onix to gain experience. Though Meowth failed to learn Pay Day, Jessie and James bailed him out by throwing coins to make it appear that Meowth used Pay Day. Shimajio then wanted Meowth to rule the village, but Meowth decided to stay with Jessie and James.
