Shauna in Pokémon Adventures

In Pokémon Adventures, Shauna is an aspiring Furfrou groomer. Additionally, she is childhood friends with X, Y, Tierno, and Trevor. She is first seen talking to Y after a failed attempt at getting a depressed X to come out of his house. Although she finds it hard to believe Y's efforts will produce any results, Shauna notes that she still holds on to the hope that she and her friends will be a happy group once again.

Soon after, the legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal appear and cause havoc in Vaniville Town while battling each other. Although Y manages to get everyone to safety with her Rhyhorn, Shauna's Furfrou was sent flying during the commotion and was lost. As the five group together, Shauna states that she intends on finding her missing Furfrou. The group then sets off on their adventure as friends once again.
