All seeds restore the Pokémon's belly by five when eaten, except for the Reviver Seed which restores everything. Almost all seeds have additional properties in certain situations. As seeds are designed to be thrown, they cannot be caught.

Almost all seeds have additional properties in certain situations. Jobs often require a particular seed to be delivered.

In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, seeds can be found in dungeons, or purchased from the Kecleon Shop in Pokémon Square.

In Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky, seeds are once again found in dungeons or purchased at the Kecleon Shop in Treasure Town.

In Gates to Infinity, seeds, outside of dungeons, can be grown or purchased at various Paradise facilities, or bought at Post Town's Kecleon Shop.
