The Secret Key was featured in Unplugging Rotom (Heat, Wash, Mow, Fan, Frost), where it was found by Diamond at the Old Chateau after his and Pearl's second encounter with Diamond. As the word "Eterna" was written into the key, they deduced that it must fit into something found in Eterna City. Following Rotom into the Team Galactic Eterna Building, they soon found a room labeled "Secret Room", and used the key to unlock its door, revealing that the room contained all of Rotom's electric appliances, giving it access to all of its forms.
