Search for the Legendary Pokémon! (Japanese: 伝説のポケモンをさがせ!) is the second Pokémon Tretta set. It features 48 Tretta.
Information
The Search for the Legendary Pokémon! set introduces Legend-class Tretta, which feature more powerful Pokémon and are more difficult to obtain than Master-class Tretta. These new Tretta are colored black, with regular Tretta appearing as red. Kyurem is featured as the debut Legend-class Tretta. These Tretta are also numbered "00", though the set still includes 48 Tretta in total. This set also introduces the Ghost and Flying types to Pokémon Tretta, and includes Pokémon that have more than one attack.
Four locations in Search Mode remain the same as the previous set, with the new Beach location replacing Cave. Forest, Waterfront, Field, and Ruins all feature an autumn theme.
Search for the Legendary Pokémon! also introduces the "Home and Away" mechanic, which rewards players for using Tretta from the latest set. These Tretta are referred to as Home, which activates the Home Power bonus, providing a small boost in attack. Any number of Tretta from the last set however will be referred to as Away, and will result in each Pokémon receiving a small attack reduction. Rental Pokémon assigned when players do not have three of their own Tretta count as Away, while Rookie and Trophy Tretta do not affect the Home and Away mechanic.
