It targets enemy in the front, while cutting corners, reducing their Defense stat to ¼ of the original value. This reduction is separate from the stat stages and can be applied multiple times, up to 1/128. This move is affected by Magic Coat, Taunt and Muzzled status condition. Being a sound-based move, it is blocked by Soundproof.
