Santalune Gym (Japanese: ハクダンジム Hakudan Gym) is the official Gym of Santalune City and the first Gym the player character challenges in Kalos. It is based on Bug-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Viola.
In the games
The first room contains multiple frames of Pokémon, the room below, accessed via rope, is a giant spider web, trainers are on platforms. Lastly, Viola is on a wooden area, after defeating her, one of the frames in the first room opens, which is an exit.

In the anime
This gym appeared in XY005, where Ash challenged Viola to a gym battle, but lost. The gym will reappear in XY006 for Ash's rematch.
In the manga
This gym has yet to appear in any Pokémon manga.
