Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends is the twenty-second season of the dubbed version of the Pokémon anime. It is the third season of Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. The season follows Ash and his classmates as he continues his journey, attending the Pokémon School in the Alola region.
In the United States, it premiered on Disney XD on March 23, 2019 with the dub premiere of Lillier and the Staff!. In Canada, it debuted on March 2, 2019 on Teletoon.
It is preceded by Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures.

Ash has completed three of his four grand trials in the Alola region, and more adventures await as he and his classmates acquire new Z-Crystals, make new Pokémon friends, and learn how to Mantine Surf! In their role as Ultra Guardians, the Pokémon School students take on an important mission to protect Wela Volcano. Ash meets a new rival, Hau, whose Dartrix offers Rowlet quite a challenge. Even Rotom Dex gets an adventure of its own when our heroes visit the set of its favorite TV show! And Professor Kukui's dream of starting a Pokémon League in Alola just might be getting closer to reality...

- Ash and Pikachu are transported to the Ultra Ruin, where they help Dia stop the Guzzlord by sending it through an Ultra Wormhole before returning to Alola. (SM100 - SM101)
- Misty and Brock travel to Alola to visit Ash and his classmates, as a surprise organized by Lana. (SM102 - SM103)
- Ash and his classmates travel to Poni Island. (SM104 - SM109)
- Sophocles reveals that he is planning to evolve his Charjabug and learns that he can do so in Vast Poni Canyon. (SM104)
- Ash learns that Poni Island doesn't currently have an Island Kahuna, as the previous one retired due to ill health, so he decides to find and battle Tapu Fini for his grand trial instead. (SM104)
- Ash and his classmates meet Hapu for the first time, learning that Hapu is the granddaughter of the Island's second-most recent Kahuna, Sofu. (SM104)
- Ash meets Plumeria, the Admin of Team Skull, for the first time. (SM104)
- Gladion reveals that his father disappeared through an Ultra Wormhole. (SM105)
- Lana receives a Primarium Z from Ida. (SM106)
- Tapu Fini accepts Hapu as the new Kahuna of Poni Island. (SM108)
- Mallow befriends a wild Shaymin, who agrees to stay with her until it has to fly away. (SM108)
- Lillie and Gladion learn that their father is still alive somewhere, and Gladion leaves to inform Lusamine. (SM108)
