Pokémon: Advanced Challenge is the seventh season of the English-dubbed Pokémon TV series. It is comprised of episodes 41-92 of the original Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation series. This season showcases the adventures of Ash, May, Brock and Max in the Hoenn region, from the outskirts Mauville City up to past Lilycove City.
It originally aired as part of the 2004-2005 Kids' WB! Saturday morning line-up. The season began with What you Seed is What You Get, which originally aired on September 11, 2004, and ended with Judgement Day, which originally aired on September 10, 2005.
It is preceded by Pokémon Advanced and proceeded by Pokémon: Advanced Battle. It should be noted that the concept of seasons does not exist in Japan. An invention of the dub, a season is the only way to differentiate one story arc, such as Advanced Challenge, from any other in the Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation series.
